Oko & Nichimoku Shonin Memorial Ceremony

Oko is the most important monthly ceremony to show our appreciation to the True Buddha Nichiren Daishonin.

The Memorial for the 3rd High Priest Nichimoku Shonin is also Children’s Day in Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism. Children ages 3 to 12 can participate in the ceremony where the Chief Priest touches the Joju Gohonzon on their heads and prays for their futures.
